LALAON was born from a simple idea: that the best meals are never just about food.
Inspired by the culture of Seoul's Han River, where people gather around food, fire, and water, LALAON brings that spirit to Brooklyn's waterfront—creating a place to slow down, connect, and share.
LALAON is rooted in personal memory and cultural tradition. Growing up near Seoul's Han River, founder Juyoung Oh experienced firsthand how food naturally brings people together — for milestones, celebrations, and long evenings by the water.

Designed by founder Juyoung Oh, every space is shaped by natural materials, open fire, and the rhythm of gathering—from intimate dinners to celebrations shared around the table.

It is a tradition of sharing, conversation, and time spent together.
Premium meats, seasonal seafood, and house-made banchan are prepared with respect for Korean tradition and presented with a contemporary New York perspective.
